5000 years old Primitive tribe Sabar whose name mentioned in Hindu epic ‘Mahabharata’ . Generally, Sabar are East Indian tribe. Later on, they have been migrated in different places. By this way they have reached a small village called Sattyadaspur, under G-Plot Gram Panchayat in South 24 Pgs, West Bengal. While, gathering information about Sabar we were informed that 15-20 years ago they did not even cook. They used to eat roasted snakes, fogs, field mouse, crabs etc. Their main profession honey and Crab collection, & both the professions are life threatening in nature. Most of the time they have been attacked by Tigers & Crocodiles. Their daily lifestyle is really back-breaking. Their is no trace of education as people do not feel the importance of education. Children are suffering due to malnutrition and it is clearly visible through their physical structure. Children are addicted by tobacco (Khaini) & this is the primary reason of malnutrition. They do not have any Govt. Documents to avail benefits as a Tribe. One day, While He was top of his professional career, SUBHANKAR BANERJEE he witnessed, a 2 years old Kabita has lost her father due to tiger attacked at dense forest of Sundarban while his father was fishing on the canal and it changed the direction of his life . He was deeply disturbed. It Forced him to leave his job and follow his SOUL.It is “The Biography of Sw.Vivekananda” and “Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita” which were the catalyst of his transformation.
