‘Disability’ is merely a dictionary word for a person who dreams. Bulti is one such individual. She lost her limb in a freak accident when she was barely 1 years of age. After rigorous attempts to save her life and mobility by the doctors, she ended up with having to loss one of her legs. Being disabled and deemed ‘worthless’, she was neglected by her family and community alike. She was unable to do any type of work may it be out in the forests or help out her mother in household work. Being a female, the situation was even more constricting for her. Unable to earn, she never had any social support or a proper upbringing. For 14 years she grew up in isolation under the sun and nature’s care. She never gave up though, continued to fight for her life, to be able to achieve her dreams. Now finally, with your support and the efforts of our team, Bulti finally got admission in school. Now she can work towards her goals, work to prove her worth to those who left her when she needed them the most, make friends who support and understand her. We are really proud of her determination and thankful for the society members who were willing to help her in time of her need.
