On Netaji’s Birth Anniversary, Tribal Vidyarthis Proudly Flew the National Flag to their Village for the First Time.

On 23rd January, 2023, the Vidhyarthis (students) of SOUL took the initiative to celebrate Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s 126th birthday. The celebration occurred at two remote tribal villages: Satyadaspur and Indraprashtha under the Patharpratima block in Sundarban. The Vidhyarthis hoisted a national flag for the first time in both villages, sang the Indian national anthem, and had a special meal. The guests of honor were Bankim Bhakta, a tiger victim of age 60+ in Satyadaspur and Binapani Devi, a member of the Savar tribal community of age 60+. The images depict the celebration of the day and commemorate Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as one of the most notable freedom fighters in India.
