Scholarships Program Overview

Our Scholarships Program offers a comprehensive package of financial aid, career mentorship, and healthcare support. It is specifically designed for students from underserved communities in the Sundarbans to help them achieve their educational goals and build a brighter future.

We provide scholarships to students at the Higher Secondary (HS) and Higher Education (HE) levels, ensuring that you receive the support you need at every stage of your academic journey.

What the Scholarship Includes

As a scholarship recipient, you will receive:

  • Monthly Stipend: Financial support to cover your basic educational expenses.
  • Academic Kits: Essential materials such as books, stationery, and study supplies.
  • Career Guidance & Soft-Skill Training: Ongoing mentorship to help you explore future career opportunities and develop key skills for personal and professional success.
  • Healthcare Support: Access to healthcare services, including health check-ups and telemedicine support, so you can focus on your studies without worrying about medical expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for SOUL's Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Performance: Must have secured at least 75% marks in the last two final exams.
  • Residency Requirement: The applicant must be a resident of the Kakdwip Subdivision.
  • Family Income: The annual family income should be 1,20,000 INR or less.

How to Apply

Applying for SOUL’s scholarship is simple! Follow these steps:

  • Fill Out the Online Application Form: Complete the Scholarship Application Form by providing your personal details, educational background, and contact information.
  • Submit Supporting Documents: You will need to submit the following documents as part of your application:
    • Proof of residence (Sundarbans)
    • School or college ID
    • Latest academic transcripts or report cards
    • Any additional documents that highlight your achievements or extracurricular activities
  • Application Review: Once your application is submitted, our team will review it carefully. We will contact you if any additional information is required.
  • Interview (if necessary): Some applicants may be invited for a short interview to discuss their academic goals and how the scholarship will support their education.
