Dinu Mullick, aged 50, faced a life-threatening situation when he was attacked by a royal Bengal tiger while working in the forests of the Sundarbans. Thanks to SOUL’s Relief and Disaster Management initiative, Dinu was provided with immediate medical assistance and rehabilitative care, helping him make a full recovery. Today, Dinu has been reintegrated into normal life and continues to support his family.

Kajal Mullick: Rehabilitated After a Near-Fatal Attack

Kajal Mullick, a woman in her 40s, was attacked by a tiger while resting on her boat. SOUL’s rapid response not only rescued her but also provided comprehensive medical care, emotional support, and rehabilitation. Kajal’s recovery and return to her community demonstrate the critical role SOUL’s disaster management efforts play in saving lives and restoring hope.

Ashalata Mullick: Breaking Barriers for Savar Girls

Ashalata Mullick, the first Savar girl in the Sundarbans to pass the 10th standard (Madhyamik), achieved this milestone under the mentorship of SOUL's Udaan Program. Piyali Maity: From a Rural Village to Engineering Dreams

Piyali Maity, a 19-year-old girl whose father is a daily laborer, achieved a remarkable milestone with the support of SOUL’s Youth Empowerment Program. Despite the financial hardships, Piyali scored first division in her 10+2 exams and has since qualified for an engineering course. Her journey is a powerful example of how education and mentorship can transform the lives of youth in rural and economically challenged regions.
